| claw problem hi All this is my first post to this forum, and I hope I get it right! I took Reilly to the groomers on Saturday. He got a pretty good groom, but we noticed yesterday that when he was playing with his soccer ball he cried in pain. I had a look at his legs, and although they appeared okay there was a claw that look as though the groomers tried to get it clipped and failed. This is understandable considering he hates people touching his legs/feet! It is kinda broken (I guess he could of done this playing with his ball - if they had weakened it trying to clip it) Anyway he seems to be catching it and it hurts (I guess like if we have a toe nail broken near to the skin - and we catch it!) i have made an appointment to take him to the vet tonight to get it removed - but - I am really worried about how much pain this might cause him. I so don't want to see him in pain. Has anyone else had this done, or know if the vet will give him some sort of pain killing injection? Thanks Karen |
