| To those of you that want to groom your own yorkie...go for it. You can do it. There are so many resources available (internet, grooming books...) Go slow, experiment...it's hair...it grows back. Have fun with it!

| so, the ones out there that groom, do you use clippers or just the trimmers for a regular cut, I was looking at pricing today and noticed the trimmers are less, since i'm not going butch, I dont know that i'd need the clippers... but-we'll see. i better get the book but you guys are right, it's hair, it will grow back and maybe it will make our bond a little better between my dog and I........wish me luck! |

I have clippers because as soon as my dog is a finished champion they get the royal buzz cut LOL. If you like the longer hair I would use thining shears. I never shave between the eyes. All this is my preference of course and since I can groom my own it's alot cheaper with all my crew LOL | |
