| Question about grooming Hi there. These are pics of my Phoebe girl. She is easy to groom, as she's so obedient for me. But my question is, am I supposed to trim the longer hairs on her ears? Or let them grow. I don't have plans to show her right now, but I like the look of long haired yorkies, so we are growing her hair out. I shave the top part of her ears cuz I like it to look neat. Also, should I be trimming her feet at all? Thanks! |

| She is beautiful. I think you do a great job. I have read to trim the feet in the shape of the foot-whatever that means. I like the hair around her ears long. Your baby reminds me of my Hannah. |

| I think her ears look good. The feet can be rounded with scissors and you can use an electric trimmer to shave the hair in her pads. Lucky you, my dogs hate to be groomed. She's a beauty!

| Thank you thankyou.... I think she's beautiful, but figured I'm partial! I hav used little scissors to trim her pads so she doesn't slip on he laminae flooring, and I've trimmed a little around her feet, like you said. It's funny, people (non-yorkie owners) always think I trim her face hair to be the way it is, but I haven't touched it! I don't even trim her eyes, as I'm afraid to, and worried I'll make her look weird. I just try to keep the boogies out! teehee.... Thanks for the input! deb |
