| How to Frou-frou??? help!!! i took Whiskey to the groomer's last week for the first time. I am excluding the other time i took her and the lady shaved her down except for her head- can we say bobble-head please . anyway when i picked her up she looked like a completely different dog-her hair was all nice and flat (she's a fluffy thing!) and divided down her back. now i wash her once a week and brush her nightly with her c.c. brush but i can't get her hair to "do" like the groomer did. i would love some tips and advice. thanks

Donating YT 30K Club Member | They have taken classes and have had a lot of experience. I am getting better at grooming Cali, but when I take her in they do a mucg better job. Glad she looks so good.

| Ask the groomer what products she uses on her hair to make it lay flat. You could try some people conditioner that makes hair straight and silky. When I color my hair I use the preference but I cannot use the conditioner because it makes my hair so soft and fine and I can't get it to do anything. You could try that conditioner. If you find out what product she uses i would be interested in knowing because Ollie is a fluffy yorkie too. |

| omg this happened to me....kirby's best feature (to me ) was his long hair on his ears....went almost to the ground which blended in with his mane. ohhhh just beautiful. i took him to the groomers and they cut off all of his ear hair and cut down his mane especially around the neck....i about died!!!!!!!!!! my kirby now looks like a regular yorkie (which isn't bad at all) but i liked him being different looking than the pet yorkie.
