| What elastics are safe for a top knot? I can't find any at the petshop so I was wondering if there is anything else I can use? |

| If you go to the hair section in Walmart or shoppers they'll have tiny little 'ouchless' elastics - this is what I use on Oscar and Ruthie. They come out easily, are only good for one or two uses (they'll stretch out by that point or break when you pull them out). Plus they're cheap. I've even gotten packs at the dollar store - exact same thing but in rainbow colors and three different sizes.

| I would assume what everyone else suggested. Just the little ones that are for people, like when people want to put twisties or little braids in there hair.

| Believe it or not, I went to the Dollar Tree and got Eeyore a pack of 500 Snag Free Rubberbands for one $1.00. They are black in color, small, soft & springy and will not break the hair. They are made by Suave...
