| I'm Grooming My Own Dog - Need Advice I am not comfortable clipping the nails and emptying the anal glands. Both of mine's glands fill up and need to be emptied. I know a groomer who is so generous to people that she will groom a dog for free if they can't afford it. She tells me that people bring dogs in that are matted down to the skin. This beautiful lady will spend hours of her own time combing matts out and not charge them a penny. She does this because she loves dogs and does not want to see them suffer. I think some people probably take advantage of her. Anyway she told me she will clip their nails and express their anal glands for free and just bring them in any time I want. I insist on paying her for this but how much would you pay a groomer to do this? She only charges like $15 or $20 for a full groom. She is WAAAAAYYYY under priced from the other groomers around here. She is so good with dogs and she is the only person that my dogs will willingly let trim their nails. |

| As cheap as she is, I would pay her the full price because it is taking time away that she could have a paying client. |

| My vet charges 15 for a nail trim... and the tech does it... I'd flip her 30 for the pair.... It sounds like she is more than deserving!! Support those people who run businesses that you want to see stay in business!
