| Tia's first hair cut I have always hated Tia's fur. It has been course and really hard to brush and she has hated every minute of it. I always found matts and tangles. I have done a lot of reading here and thought maybe its the products I was using. So I invested in a Chris christenson gold pin brush, some ice on ice and thought I would get to the matter of grooming. After I washed Tia and applied the ice on ice, I got out the brush and realized there was like a line of goop between her puppy hair and her new growth. No matter where I brushed, it seemed as if there was matts. The poor dog was in pain as I brushed her so I thought I would be brave (or stupid ) and cut off her puupy hair. Well now that I am done getting rid of the puppy hair, she has the most beautiful silky grey coat underneath and she now loves the brush. The cut isn't great and its really uneven and I can't get to her legs very well, but she feels so much better and I'm sure so much more comfortable. i have an appointment with a groomer at the end of September so I'll wait till then for her to be evened out. Has anyone ever encountered this change between the 2 coat lines? What is it????

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | i though Peeka was a cotton coat until i bought the cowboy magic line and he is so silky now at 14 weeks i had a hard time with matts to but i got the shampoo and conditioner but i also bought this leave in it's called concentrated detangler and shine it is the best stuff ever it makes it easy to brush and leaves him so silky and shiny!! It's weird cause it feels just like baby oil and i thought this is gonna make him so greasy looking but it doesn't it soaks right in to the hair and no greasy feel or look!
