| Is this how you do YOUR topknot?? While looking for some new bows for Adrianna, I found this site that explained how to do a topknot. This was the first that I've seen it explained this way. Just wondering if this is how you do your baby's topknots as well. Here's the link: http://www.thedivadogbowtique.com/catalog/topknot.php

| That's probably the correct way to do it and to do it for shows. I just pull it back in a regular pony tail on top of her head with baby ouchless hairbands.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Heck no !! that must be the way Show people do bows - but I couldn't be bothered - I use one band....this is a much easier site to see - http://www.yorkies4me.com/topknots.htm I did try this way and it looked good but was double the time to put in. I just skip the double band part.... but with really nice bows, I do put a band in first -then the good bow over it. |

| Both options are great! It's terrific to have actual visual instead of just written instructions. I personally don't like the show dog look with the ball on top. When I try it Jazzie ends up looking like a sumo wrestler! But the instructions are great both ways.

| Doesn't matter what we do for Charlie because five minutes later ... Ruby runs up and drags him around the kitchen floor by his bow!! So we just do the pony with one band. |

| Thanks for the info. I like that way! I'll give it a whirl. I did have a show person try to help me with topknots and bows, but she did it a different way. I am sure there must be lots of ways. Thank you! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ok - I'm a lazy bug and NEVER do it this way... I just grab the bow or flower and stick it in. LOL BUT - This has a very lengthy explanation and lots of picts too... http://www.purepaws.net/Top_Knots_files/frame.htm
