| Yorkies Coat My yorkies coat pretty short. It has no curl to it and is long on her neck and back but her face and legs are lacking a little! Is something wrong, or is it normal for some yorkies to have sparse hair on their face and legs for a while. I mean its growing on her face but very slowly. She almost looks funny because what hair is there is short but then you have these little shoots of fur just poking out everywhere randomly. Will it eventually grow? Anyone else see this in their puppy? Or is Elle just "different" hehe

| She is EXACLY 12 weeks today. Yes I do have photos but they are on my other computer. I will post soon! She has grown LOTS more hair than when I first got her. My Breeder told me (but can I believe it) that out of all her siblings that her hair would end up being the prettiest. But I am not so sure!! I am so worried!

| I was worried too for Kelsey and sometimes I was really depressed to see her . One day the hairs started to grow . She'll soon be a Canadian Champion . I had a real hard time to believe what her breeder told me because her brother was much fluffier than her . Guess what , she have a silky coat , her brother have a cottony coat . |

| Question regarding coats/colour Kia has a cottony coat, but as long as I keep her bathed every week or so, it looks fine. However, along her loins she has some sensitive skin-it is generally slghtly pink, and itchy. It is not a hot spot, but a dry/allergenic/'warm' area. Her coat is a different colour at this point-grey rather than more blue and makes Kia look a little odd. I have changed her diet to one with no corn, and am very careful about anything she eats. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what have you done to correct it? |

| We love Dottie too I came on forum today to look for a Yorkie like Dottie and so far your baby is the closes.....She has more hair on her face then ours but the long hair on the neck area and the lack of long hair on the legs are the same.....I will try and send you pictures but Im not so good with computers. Anyways Dottie weighs around 4 pounds and is a sweetie. Our other 3 Yorkies look like the rest so my husband keeps telling me she is our swan. I saw the parents or what they said was the parents and I have heard of bald Yorkies but I felt she would grow out of it. Well we will see.....Debbie |

| I talked to my groomer and she said my baby might have a hormone imbalance. That would be a reason her hair was thin and not growing. I have an appointment with her vet today...so we will see!
