| I received my cowoy magic a couple of days ago and I like it!! So far so good. I like the feel of it and it really smoothed out the mats and made them easier to work with. I didn't notice any residue afterward either that usually makes the cotton coat feel even worse. |

| Teddy has a cotton coat and I have to brush every day... I use the C & C Brush and the C & C Day to Day Moisturizing Conditioner on him, I dulited it to a spray bottle and lay him on the floor in front of me and spray UNDER his hair, I lift if say at his butt and go up...Sides, back legs, lifting the top layer of hair and then letting a little down each time and keep spraying it...Tiffanie has a silky coat and it takes no time to brush her. But Teddys is bad with getting matts...I think my key to him is the C & C Brush and getting the bottom layer of hair...Keep in mind I'm letting his hair grow out & it's not even started to really grow out yet!! Well he's looking like a lion now, with a mane!! His head hair is longer then his body hair! But he still gets the mats easy...And Sir. Galahad I think is gonna have Teddys coat and it's already starting to matt. I do him the same way just like Teddy and he doesn't mind. | I have been a member for sometime but this is my first post. I am glad to hear that others have had the same problems I have been experiencing with my Ginger. I felt like a bad mommy. She loves to roll around and constantly gets mats. I brush her often but poor thing just lies there and cries (and I am very gentle). It seems that the Aussie 3 minute miracle deeep is effective although I am weary of using a human product on her. Your thoughts? How about brushes? The brush and comb I use don't seem to get through her cottony hair. I will have to post a picture soon. Thank goodness for yorkie talk. Now I know I have a normal Yorkie. Thanks, Tifani |

I have never tried the Aussie 3 minute, but wouldn't be too concerned about using it even though they do say that human products are not the proper PH. I love the Cowboy Magic Detangler. A little goes along way and I don't have to cut the matts out - they actually brush out. It is a silk protein so it moisturizes and changes the texture of the hair so it keeps the matts out longer. A little goes a long way. Their website is www.cowboymagic.com and it has a store locator. www.tobysnaturalpets.com sells a tube for $7.95 plus shipping. If you decide to order from toby's look at the Life for Teeth products. I have been really happy with the results and their breath stays so fresh. I paid $23.00 for a large bottle (approx. 15 oz.) of the Cowboy Detangler at a local livestock and farm supply. P.S. Welcome! | |
