| Sophie back from the groomer Well I finally did it. I took Sophie to the groomers. We just had it trimmed up even all the way around and had her face trimmed some. The groomer was super nice and let me stand there and keep her still the entire time. She showed me exactly how to do everything but I am still afraid to do it myself. It is really hard to get it even especially with her hair being so thick. Her ears don't look great but that is my fault I had them a little to short. She said they will look better as the hair grows some more. Sophie took it all in stride and was such a good girl. We even got a great comment from someone in the shop. They asked if she was some kind of show dog or something. The groomer and I both giggled a little and I said no she is far from breed standard and the groomer added that she was very pretty though. I think we have found our groomer. The first pic is a before and the rest are after.

| Sophie is absolutely beautiful. No wonder someone thought she is a show dog. It's nice to hear that you've found a groomer you like.

| That's a great haircut, she's beautiful! I need to find a groomer that I'm happy with. O/T Do most groomers let you stay around and watch or do they just take your furbaby and tell you when to come back? |

I think most of them take them and tell you when to come back but I wouldn't leave Sophie so I made arrangements before hand. I didn't expect to get to stand right there with her though. I think it made it easier on Sophie that I was there. She was very good.

I just noticed that it looks like she doesn't have a tail in those pics. She doesn't really like having her pic taken so she won't hold her tail up. You should see it when she is out playing. It is so cute. I will have to get a pic to prove she has a tail. LOL!

| She is beautiful. I've always been a bit "smitten" with your Sophie. She reminds me of an angel I used to have. To me, your Sophie looks like a Brazilian beauty! I don't know where she came from, but I can spot those Brazilian beauties a mile away... I think the groomer did real nice by her. Best wishes, |
