| Compliment from groomer So, I'm taking Zoie to a new groomer and my husband dropped her off earlier this morning. She calls to make sure again what I want done and says I've taken good care of her, asks what shampoo and stuff I use (PetSilk) and says I've got a good quality dog!!!!!!!! She asked where I got her (not a breeder) and said she wished she knew if she was going to have puppies again because she likes to recommend people like her! Cool huh? I was thinking Zoie wasn't high quality, but she said she's got a solid little body and that her bone structure was good and she wasn't too little or too big. Zoie weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces at 7 months. I was just so glad to hear that!!! I didn't pay an arm and a leg because her mom 's paperwork didn't get sent in, so that makes Zoie worth less money int the real world somehow. She's priceless to us though :-) What's funny is I made this appointment because I was at my wit's end with tangles and knots in her hair and didn't know what to do. I thought we'd have to cut knots out and stuff, but she said she looked good. I guess my standards are really high, but I have been brushing her 2 times a day trying to get them out! |

| That was a very nice thing for the groomer to say. You must have a great little girl!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That is nice to hear!!! Just an FYI I just spent the last 20 minutes working Cowboy Magic detangler into matts around Cali's ears and neck and combed them all out. That stuff really worked for us. I also didn't stop when she started fussing and made her sit there while I did it. Usually I am a wimp and stop if she gets fussy.

| Well, I don't know how she got Zoie's tangles out, but she did somehow and she said NEVER bathe her without first brushing her out. She said the fur shrinks like a mohair sweater and will shrink around mats, which makes them that much more difficult to get out. I told her what people here said about not brushing dry and she said that was for show dogs who are trying to save every single hair. I thought it was funny I had never heard of NOT dry brushing a dog before I came here. I'm just so happy that she thinks I've taken good care of her coat. |

| If I can find that Cowboy Magic I might try it, but the ingredients are similiar to lots of defrizzers and detanglers for humans. |

| I got the same kind of compliment from my vet once. She told me Sadie was the perfect Yorkie. Perfect body size, shape, weight, coloring, face, and well taken care of. I was one proud Mama when I left the office that day!!! It's nice to get those kinds of compliments. Of course, we all know our own yorkies are perfect, but it's nice when someone else happens to mention it too!
