| first haircut!! At what age should I give my yorkies their first haircut? I've heard that if you cut their hair at a very young age, the texture and the condition of the hair would change forever (for the worse) and it won't be silky anymore. Is that true? My yorkies are 5 months old now and their hair is getting very long...I want to let the hair on top of their heads grow out so I can put bows on them But for the rest of the hair on the bodies...can I cut them now? Thanks in advance!!!!!! |

| Now is about the time that all of us normally clip. I took mine to the groomer and them cut myself the next time.
