| Pads on the Paws.. Hi there: I noticed the paddings on my 10-month old Yorkie are a tad rough, not smooth like they normally are. Is this bad? The groomer said nothing (he was groomed yesterday). Is there anything out there I can buy to care for his paws and keep them in good condition? |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | you can put lotion on his pads if they are rough. same kind of lotion you would use on your skin. i'd stay away from ones with heavy smells or dyes.

| a dog's foot pads will become rougher and harder naturally from walking (especially on hard surfaces like concrete sidewalks). Same way some people's feet develop callouses! (ew)
