| Out of Ideas!! I need help. Leo's hair is getting to the length where its in his eyes, but its still not long enough that it all stays in a topknot. Also, most times I can't even get him to stay still enough for a topknot, lmao. Does anyone have any ideas for ways to get hair out of his face and eyes other than a haircut? I'm planning on possibly showing him later on and want the hair length. Also, if anyone's ideas involved methods that won't make him look like a girl, LOL! My husband defends his son's masculinity and won't let me use bows on his topknots LOL. P.S. I'm scared to use clips on his hair out of fear that he will manage to take it off and start biting/choke on it.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I use the mini claw clips for Marcel. I used to also use those tini "tension" barrettes too.

We use 1/4 in orthodontic elastics. We tried barrettes, clips, and bows and they all become chew toys. She feels anything with weight and wants them out. I learned to make bows with an elastic, which works when we want to be pretty. https://dogs.wonderhowto.com/how-to/...bands-0123822/ Maybe in an "it's a boy" ribbon or a nice forest green It took time to teach our little girl to lay still to get her top knot in but now she's just a marvel. I watched a few videos online to see how others trained to get ideas. Thank goodness for online videos!!! She does not like the big grooming pillows. But it's a good idea to teach them to lay down and put so something under the chin to support their head. I use a rolled up dish towel. It's the last step in our daily grooming and takes about 30 seconds now that my hands have become more deft and she lays her tiny head down and is still. The better I got, the better she got. | |

| Yep, that's what ya gotta do until they get use to something on their head. Once they are use it they will leave it alone, until then, they will keep pulling it out lol.

| My boy is ok with the top knot but clothes lol lol, never. Even putting on his winter coat, sweater, even a light weight T-shirt he goes into statue mode, fezzes, knows for sure he can't move his legs lol. Out the door we go and those legs of course can and do work lol. Once home and harness and coat are off he is running through the house like a wild child and rubbing all over the bed, I swear I hear singing of "born free". Silly babies.
