Senior Yorkie Talker | Question on Grooming I do very good with grooming my younger Yorkie, But my 15 yr old Yorkie has become so difficult to groom, I have taken her to the Groomer, for the last couple of years, and the last time I took her, they had to call me to come pick her up because, she got so stressed that her tongue would turn blue, and they where scared that she might have a heart attack. It does seem since her cataraques have gotten worse, and she also does not hear very well, it has intensified this problem greatly, I can hardly get her brushed anymore, (she used to just lay down and let me brush her and was so calm) but I have to, she dosen't mind her bath or blow dry. I don't have a clipper myself, but she is now clearly scared of it, so I tried to do it with siscors, but I am scared to poke her, she won't stay still. It has been about 4 months since she was at the groomers, they did get some trimming done, but now she is getting too long especially around the mouth. Please any suggestions or helpful tips appreciated. Thanks |
