| Thick/woolly coat care Hey everyone! My Joe is one of those Yorkies who has a thick, woolly coat. On his head it falls fairly straight, but on his body it just tends to fluff up and sticks out every which way lol My question is, what kind of care does this kind of coat require as opposed to the more common, silky, straight coat? We tend to keep him clipped down, letting it grow longer in the winter, but for when is coat does grow out, how can we help to keep it straighter and looking a bit more orderly? Here's a pic from his Pack profile (He's since been clipped down...) |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My Cali has a thick cottony coat too. I use Pet Silk shampoo and conditioner and blow dry her coat straight. She tends to get wavy on her rear.
