Oh, he is so adorable. I have all my 4 girls in a similar cut, only leave the legs longer (like The Joey cut), and love the way they look, plus it's nice not to have to brush as much.

You will probably come to enjoy it too

Love love Galen's face, so adorable! Bet he's running around & rolling on his back & enjoying himself...he's nekkid loll. They do look much smaller w/no hair.

Lexi has a short cut for the summer, but I leave the legs long. Looking at those sticks all day would make me nervous too. I probably be scared to even let her walk around the house on those needles, much less play!

He is such a gorgeous little boy!! I know it was hard having him shaved, but he looks so cute and puppy-like!!

He is gorgeous and still looks like a yorkie with his beautiful topknot. I love his markings, they really stand out on his shaved coat now. He does seem tinier but his little physique looks great and you can tell he comes from excellent breeding lines!

Thank you so much. I did not think of it that way. He does have a great little physique. That is all from my wonderful breeder. He does come from great lines.

Galen is the cutest! I am sorry he was full of mats but that cut was necessary it sounds to get them out. Better than pulling and hurting him. Shorter is easier and I find Yorkie fur grows fast so if you want it a bit longer it won't be long. He is so cute no matter what cut he is showing off. What a beautiful dog and well-behaved too!

I think he looks great and probably loves how it feels, I think he face is even more adorable with a shorter cut, he looks so precious I just wish I was there to give you both a hug and tell you mom, it will grow back. BTW I shaved Lola' body down a few weeks ago, only difference is I left her leg hair, but just yesterday found a bunch of mats that I missed so clipped some of that now. You are lucky you have a cutie with our without hair.

Thank you so much. I am brushing him everyday anyway. Just don't want him to forget all we did.

Thanks Donna. I really could have used that hug on Friday lol I am so glad that the groomer still made him look cute. Lola is always a beauty. Galen sends puppy kisses to her
