| How long will it take to grow back? I really don't want to explain why I'm asking the question because it's too embarrassing, but can someone please tell me how long it takes (approximately) for hair to grow back on a Yorkie mix once it's cut off? I will say, she's 1 year old and her hair is 5 inches long everywhere else. |

| Georgie's hair grows back so fast he gets groomed once a month and I have to trim in between.

| Thank you. Bella isn't a purebred Yorkie, she's mixed with a Maltese. However, her hair is only 5 inches long (it's all hanging straight down and it's silky though)...except her head *coughs loudly* It took a year to grow out that long and it was about an inch all over when we got her at 11.5 weeks. I just don't want to wait another year for my mistake to be fixed. [Edit] Blah fine I'll admit it - I cut her bangs because she hates bows and couldn't see...and looked like Cousin It. Well, one thing led to another and she ended up getting snipped from her bangs to the ear area because locks kept falling down from places I didn't know she had places!! So I kept snipping until nothing fell in her face and now she looks like poop Last edited by YorkOfTheShire; 09-06-2012 at 06:44 PM. |

| My niece has a Morkie and Omgosh we adore her! She is so stinkin cute! Anyways, I could on and on about Miss Olivia but I will say her hair grows so fast! Don't worry I am sure she is still adorable! Heck she probably likes it better! Georgie doesn't do top knots he refuses so he rocks the puppy cut at the ripe old age of 7

| well how long it takes for the hair to grow back really depends on the dog. my oscar's hair is very slow growing he is yorkie with a very silky coat. please dont feel bad , i did the same to him a few months ago. His hair was very long and i meant to give him a "trim" . It just didn't look right and the more i tried to "fix it" the worse it got so i had to end up shaving him down and start over. his hair is now starting to grow out again. don't worry it will grow out ... |

| My mom has a little biewer girl who hates bows and will take a band out of her hair in two seconds flat. She has to keep her hair short, but it grows fast as weeds and so does Jada and Bogie's. I keep them shaved all over except for their heads and legs. I would say it will only take a few weeks to grow back. It seems to me the hair on my two grows the fastest on the head and face.
