| Long Silky Hair I know that this question has been asked a million times. But.....well what do you think is the best shampoo/conditioner for pups with long silky hair. I have used Chris Christensen, Minksheen, Petsilk, and who knows what else. Right now we are using Yorkie Splash and Shine. I do love the YSS. However, I was reading about IV San Bernard and then someone else mentioned Coat Handler? So before I reorder my YSS, please tell me what you think is best for a long silky coat. Honestly with Rosie I think the conditioner is the secret. I don't know if you all agree or not? Any help is appreciated.

| I think I've used them all too! I am thinking about trying coat handlers again. It was the very first shampoo I used and it was ok. I like Isle of dog and I'm thinking about trying Vellus right now.... I'll be interested to see what others say as I have a dog hair care product addiction |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I JUST started using Pure Paws Conditioner right now and I am very happy with it. I was very hesitant at first because Taycie is so sensitive and it seems like anything makes her eyes run or her ears get bright red... I just gave her a second bath with it this morning and I am so happy with the results. For shampoo I started using the EZ groom Medicated Oatmeal and I REALLY loving it as well. Good luck in your search! I have heard WONDERFUL things about IV San Bernard. The conditioner sounds like magic. There is a distributor close to were I live and she loves Vellus and Coat Handler.. She has everything under the sun... I love going in there She was the one that helped me figure out what to try for sensitive Taycie. So far, I am SO pleased with the results!

| I am biased because I will be selling a few brands of shampoo and conditioners. The brand I have used the most on my boys is: Bio-Groom Oatmeal shampoo, and Silk Creme rinse. I love the Vellus shampoo and conditioner, especially for Max, but it is a little pricey for me to use all of the time. We use the conditioner on beards because the scent is light and I feel safe using it around the face. We buy directly from Vellus. (buy their satin creme too! great for topknots. They have a sampler package for $25) I also use Coat Handlers, Isle of Dogs, #1 All Systems, and Les Poochs, when I feel like switching things up. Coat Handler is extra mild. Chris Christensen's Day to Day -- I loved the results but the scent, while pleasant, is too much for my sensitive nose.
