Here is a recent pic of Gidget. I think I need to grow out the hair on the legs more and get the body hair cut closer to get the look of Joey. Any other advice? Would appreciate it! :)

Gidget's gorgeous, I love her face and I think her legs are great, the only thing I think that would make the cut more dramatic, would be to clip body hair closer. I mean she's gorgeous, anyway, but the short hair on the body, makes the rest of the cut stand out.

I just love the "Joey" look. Maggie wears it well, but I tried it on Hot Rod and his hair is just too thin on his legs. He looks like he's been thru a wind tunnel, lol.

These aren't great but you can see Maggie May with her Joey. :)

I agree with Nancy but she is precious! I don't think you could make her ugly if you tried!!!!

Awww - Maggie May is so pretty. I think it does help to have plenty of hair for the Joey cut. Lord knows that Beemer had a ton. That's why I got it cut!

Thank you for the pics and the advice! I will give this a try. I LOVE the cut! Joey is such a handsome boy!

I think you were quoting me when you said that I was talented in grooming - haha -no I'm definately not!!!! I'm talented in knowing my limitations and finding a good groomer though! :D

Yes she did. I posted pics somewhere...I'll put them here again. I absolutely love her cut! I plan on keeping it year round.

She looks adorable, I'm starting to love the longer facial hair with this cut, I think we'll let his grow out a little! She has a beautiful body!

Lulu is adorable, and I've put it off long enough.... Tiki is the next to get this cut!

I've been thinking about it for months, and it's time to jump in. I have hesitated because Tiki's body is long and thin, but too bad.... I'm ready. I do this cut on my Morkies, and it's perfect for them.

I recently did this cut on Jesse, He was in full coat and has beautiful silky hair, I was so scared to do it, but I love it and plan on keeping him in the cut, it's so adorable on all yorkies!
