knot ideas?

I dont use hair elastics if I put more than 2 bands in.
And the coat has to be a bit long on the head so it doesnt fall out
The ''every day'' topknot that Fido has is most often just a simple one, with hair elastics (those small soft ones, I love them !), but you can't put them in very short hair cause then they will just fall out.

When I use rubber bands I cut them out on the evening so he can sleep with nothing in his hair (he rolls over so much when he's a sleep that otherwise he breaks his hair in the topknot and pulls it out), despites when he sleeps he never pulls his topknot so it does not break much if anything at all

Hehehe! lucky that your dog sits still! coco sits still while i part and comb out the knots and everything but when its time to put the band on she flips! & i understand you completely

No I don't spray conditioner on coco. I should. I actually have a 2 in 1 puppy shampoo :P When we move back to Canada we'll get shampoo & conditioner seperately and i'll mix her the spray conditioner :P hehehe! I used to do that on my hair extensions and i guess i forgot all about that :P

Are you using rubber bands or hair elastics for banding? Rubber bands tend to cause more breakage than the other non-rubber types of elastics. And Sun is correct... always spray the coat, never brush or comb dry...

I am just so surprised that she has such beautiful eye lashes... i dont think ive ever seen a dog with eyelashes!!! it was super long but i asked the groomer to cut it a little! & Thank you on complimenting on coco! I'm glad it took me over a year to get her but i am very happy she is part of my family.

I actually don't know what i use! i use the one that the breeder gave me. they're really tiny and they do seem like a mixture of plastic and rubber??? But I also bought slightly bigger ones that children use on their hair. It's not rubber but i think its plastic? I dont even know how to explain it because I don't know what it is!!!!

What do you use? and where do you get them???

The one I recently got are like these... but i'd like the really small one ,like the one my breeder gave me but i dont know where to get them

I dared to go for a triple yesterday!

Coco has short hair near her eyes so i often use a clip for her but after she plays it comes out so i dared the triple pony :P

Awww so cute ! I often make this kind of topknot in Fido too or just with 2 bands thats cute too !
