| Wow nice groomer. Makes you wonder how the pets are treated when the owner isn't there. Hense the reason I do Andy myself as I have seen some really bad groomers when I worked in them

| Just wanted to say that Roxxy's brother is named Chewbaca! My friend named him that and we all call him Chewy. I can't wait to tell her. |

| ♪♥ Jazi & Izi's Mom ♥♫ Donating Member | So sorry that happened to your furbaby. Luckily my Cairn has had good experiences and now loves to be groomed. I'll be doing my Yorkie and my Cairn myself after reading on YT about the girl who's Yorkie got bitten and later died at the hands of a petsmart groomer. So sad when these people just don't care about customer service. I thought the customer was always right...right?

| I did read every post. let me start by saying, I am a professional pet stylist. I attended an accredited school and received a certificate of completion. I have worked with several wonderful groomers. I have competed, and won awards. I am not the end all, be all. however, I do feel a need here to speak up for my fellow groomers. I dont know the condition of your pet, you say he did not need to be shaved, I dont know if that is true. someone stated that yorkies never need to be shaved. really. so all yorkies have the exact same hair and never, ever get tangles, knots, or matts?! I personally, refused to dematt ANY dog or cat that came into my salon. I believe it is painful and cruel. would you like someone to pull and yank your hair for an hour? I find it is much more humane to clip them close, and teach an owner, that may not know, how to prevent matting from happening again. now that may not be the case here. maybe you did get a shoddy groomer, or a lazy groomer, I dont know. but please dont assume all groomers are bad. again, I am sorry your experience was not good. |
