| I brush Tibbe's teeth almost every day. Nothing less will keep his teeth from collecting tartar and I still have to have them cleaned every so often.

| I brush Juicy's teeth once a week during bath time since she loves to get her beard all messy with doggie toothpaste but I do use Paul Mitchell doggie teeth wipes everyday. They really work great and they are easy to use.

| We try to brush every night. But at least every other night. The nights that we don't brush their teeth, we usually give them something to help clean the teeth. I plan to get them their teeth cleaning once their two (another half a year).

| Once a day. I think it's very important. They will learn to like it, especially if you are consistent and use a tasty (to them) flavored toothpaste. Poultry flavor goes over well in this house.

| Use your fingers to gently open it. Be careful not to let her lip get caught between a tooth and your finger as you do it.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I try to brush twice a day. Sometimes, its only once... if I forget. It only takes 8 hours for plaque to start to form.

No Longer a Member | Every night after I floss my teeth I brush Rizzo's, then I brush my teeth and then squirt the PetzLife into my cats mouth (he will not tolerate brushing, and barely tolerates this). My vet(s) like the state of both of their teeth and my dentist loves my teeth I figure if I can find time to brush/floss/mouth wash my teeth, whats 5 mins to take care of both pets? It's best to start them when their puppies though, Rizzo still doesn't like the toothbrush but doesn't fight me either. I tried to brush my cats teeth and I think that was the first time I actually got some claw-age from him :P Since then he only gets the squirt and after a year his teeth are pearly white |
