When to go to the groomer?

Sorry just seeing this- I get Eqyss at the all natural pet store I get the dogs food at. I get Kiehls at the Kiehls store- it is a "people" store so you can usually find it in malls.

Some groomers put dogs in a crate with a dryer attached to the door. The dog is not monitored and cannot escape if the dryer becomes hot. I am of the opinion that these dryers should be banned because they have injured dogs badly. One Yorkie here had his chest severely burned by a cage dryer.

not only have dogs been injured, but one poodle died after being left in the cage dryer for 50 minutes!

Most dogs can be bathed every 4-6 weeks, but since Yorkies and Maltese dogs have hair and not fur they must be bathed at least every two weeks. Most of us bathe ours about every 8-9 days.
Imagine if you didn't bathe but every 4-6 weeks.

There are a couple people here who have commented that their Yorkies go weeks without baths. However, their dogs swim frequently in the pool. That is essentially having a bath.

Same here, My two would be a stinkin mess if they weren't bathed at least every 8 days.
