| My first grooming experience Some of you may have read my prior thread about grooming my son Hugo Versace Fendi Oquendo. So I finally buckled down, held my breath, and began. Hugo is used to being groomed by professionals, however at the steep prices charged -anywhere from $50 to $250 dollars here in NYC I decided to taker matters into my own hands. I am currently going through financial hardships and even considered rehoming Hugo VFO but I am managing. So I took an Andis Clipper that was left from a prior foster dog and a pair of scissors and began to cut away! The whole ordeal took me 4 days because I wanted Hugo to get used to his daddy cutting his hair-and seconmdly, i did not nor still know how to use the clippers correctly. However, this was the final product. Hugo came with me to my job to strut his stuff. Hugo-I am assuming is a cotton coat-So this was what I could do! Any constructive feedback will be greatly appreciated! |

| Oh and what really sucks is that here in NYC, Where someone can find anything, NONE of the grooming schools are willing to have a specific YORKIE grooming class! UGH! |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | You did a great job for your first time! He looks adorable. If you don't want to pay the crazy NYC prices you can always bring them across the river to me in Jersey
