| cleaning I know it sounds silly, but when my little 10 year old male yorkie pees some of it sometimes gets on the area surrounding his penis. Is there a way I can keep that area clean between baths? He has a history of bladder stones; so I want to be extra careful. Thanks |

| I read somewhere that if you leave the hair about an inch longer, it will help in directing the pee. I groom mine and I actually cut the hair on an angle. I don't know if his makes a difference but I haven't had any issues with him wetting himself. Good luck.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I use either those "dry bath" wet towelettes you can buy in pet stores or the Cottonelle "flushable" moist wipes to clean them up between bathes. Don't flush them, though. They'll clog your pipes.

No Longer a Member | I normally leave Rizzo's "pee spout" on there and it helps, but I still clean him up before bed with the same things AlaskaYorkie mentioned. I keep a pack right next to the door and clean him up, his pee area and his feet get a quick wipe. |

| I have often used baby wipes to clean Ben's pee "string." Now that he is cut short, I have not noticed it needing anything. I think he is keeping everything much cleaner on his own now.
