| The soft brushes have a softer cushion than the med & will glide through some tangles. You can actually feel a tangle while brushing, then you can go in w/ a comb & work it out. A med soft brush has a firmer cushion & will actually brush out a tangle or a mat. You can go w/the small black brush, easy to brush around the legs, tummy areas, & it brushes out tangles.

Well, he just got groomed today and his hair is pretty short so I'm thinking the soft would work just fine.... don't you? If I let his hair go back to being a little bit longer (which, of course, means more tangles) then I will probably come back and order the medium soft as well. I do have 4 dogs will different types of coats so I don't think I could have too many brushes. LOL.

| If you were going w/one brush, then I would've recommended the small black as multi-purpose, but baby blue will be good too!

Hmm, now I'm more confused I'm such an indecisive person. LOL. This first one I order will only be Tobie's brush. Let me think.... hehe

| Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you. Some customers thought the head of the Madan brush was too big. I have no problems using the regular brush, I prefer it over the small one. Since Tobie has a cottony coat & doesn't mind brushing, you can go w/any of the soft & med soft. It's really a color preference from there.

| I don't like suggest small brushes unless someone has a grooming bag to choose from. We spend a lot of time using the brush, it should be comfortable as much as it is functional. With Jenny's prices it's not an expensive brush. She's good to members. Buy a staple one b/c you don't have others. What kind of coat does he have? |

| Well, I couldn't decide between the small soft-medium brush or the regular sized soft brush so I just got one of each. LOL. Having an extra brush is never a bad thing when you've got 4 furbutts.

| I don't sell anything. But IMO it's not logical to order one brush if you can't make up your mind. You know you'll use more than one and shipping is nearly half the cost of one brush. If you order one from laninee it will cost you 32 for one. Jenny has 10% off ( I don't know her so it's not about me or her it's about you). 10% 16 times 2 is. 32 minus 3.20 plus shipping for two. Go with the light blue or pink and red (my initial plan anyway! shhh) All done with this brush unless you would like one to be a mini. If so keep the pink or blue and go with the red mini. All done. If you do not have scissors and a madden comb now is a good time. We shoot ourselves in the foot by giving our money to the postal service. Plan ahead, give it to the vendor and yourself. You will need the tools. They don't get wasted, you have four dogs that need them. You enjoy grooming them. Grooming them with quality products will make it easier on you and make them prettier. The only products I regret buying are cheap ones. I think the pink and purple one like my CC Gold. I'm hard on brushes. I don't baby them. I don't baby them. They get tossed, dropped, they are nor fragile, they are made to last. They're all good. You'll find the more the better you are. It's fun to get good results. The Madden gives more flexibility in the wrist. Get these two and be done with your Maddan brushes. |

I got the Baby Blue soft regular-sized brush and the Black medium-soft small brush. I also got one of the rattail combs in....blue, I think. I can't wait for them to get here!
