| ![]() I was wondering if there was an actual store or website if not that selles inexpensive yorkie hair products. My mother in law is buying some grooming supplies for my Fiona for Chistmas, but I have to find them. I want something for everyday. I need a good shampoo, conditioner, brush (not even sure which one I should be using) and even some of those little bands that won't break her hair. I would love to drive to a store and purchase all these things but not sure if there is one here. Can't spend a lot of money but she needs something. Her hair is drying out with now. I have never used anything made for yorkies. Anyone know of a good place to find all these products that won't break the bank?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Joey's breeder recommended Biogroom products, and they work really well. They have a free sample packet you can get from the Biogroom company, and see if you like them. Remember, they are very concentrated and you will need to mix them with 4 parts of water before using. A yorkietalk member mimimomom sells Madan brushes, and it's a great pin brush for a Yorkies coat, most of the pin brushes sold in pet stores are for dogs with fur, but a Yorkie has a single hair, not the double coat, so it's especially important that the pin tips on brushes be polished so that they don't scratch the skin. Mimimomo also sell the ragtail comb, which will help in putting in a topknot, as well as band scissors, to cut band off without cutting hair. Here's a link to her thread. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ml#post2769396 Here's a link to Biogroom where you can request a sample pack. Bio-Groom - Exceptional Pet Care Products for Over 30 Years. Lots of places sell Biogroom, including Petsmart, and many online places. This site has great prices. Shampoos & Conditioners | KV Supply

| ![]() Thanks. I will check it out. We have a petsmart and I may get to go there today. I like to look at things before I buy. Luv the internet but sometimes I like to hold the actual product in my hand. The free sample sounds good. I had read all the other post about grooming but still needed a little more advice. I look at the pin brushes. I have seen them in other places on YT. Don't know what they are but I will do some research. I know yorkies don't have fur too. Fiona is nothing like my schnauzers. They have the double coat. Fionas hair is more like mine! I was never good at doing mine either! LOL! ![]()

| ![]() I got my petsilk shampoo, conditioner, cologne, liquid silk serum, and top knot gel from overstock.com at a good price. The maden pin brush and combs that are sold on here are the best I have ever used. Minimo (sp?) has super fast shipping. She also sent some bands. I would look into getting the brush and comb from her. The petsilk shampoo and conditioner can be diluted so it will last longer. I used to work for a groomer and she loved Petsilk for yorkies and maltese puppies. Good luck!!!
