Therapy Dog Donating Member | Can you recommend a good home stand dog hair dryer.... That doesn't cost a fortune? I'm not a professional groomer so I don't need to spend hundreds of dollars. My two kiddos go once a month to the groomers for the works and then I do all the in between stuff like baths and combing. I have a nice little work station set up in my basement but man holding my own hair dryer is the pits and takes forever. All you home groomers and pros can you recommend a nice one for the home use?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Yeah, I bought this too, after spending $15.00 for just a hair blower stand that broke after a couple of uses. You can find the Andes at Petsmart, and its quieter than most human hair dryers, if also has a feature that allows you to blow cool air, which some people recommend as the final touch for the coat.

| I bought the Andes dryer, but returned it. The switch on it broke after only about a week or two. If you go to Amazon and read the reviews, you'll see I am not the only one who was unhappy with this dryer. I am using a regular dryer on a Hair Maid stand now. You can also use a groomers third arm to hold the dryer. I really wish they still made the Super Duck dryer. That was a fabulous dryer on a stand! |

| Do they make one that runs on its own batteries and follows them around when they get the "afterbathzoomies"??? LOL I use a hair dryer right now on cool setting and prop it next to me while they are drying, but am thinking of just making a stand for it that rotates/swivels on its own pedestal. Going to check out Home Depot and see what I can find.
