She looks like she could be full yorkie or yorkie maltese to me

If she is a red leg that would explain her short hair. She is a cutie either way. I think if your patient you will see her coat get much longer

I agree. I went to that dog breed info site, and find she really resembles some of the yorkie-maltese mixes. The best thing about her coat is that she has four little white-tipped feet. Which means WHITE NAILS!!! Hallelujah...I can finally see the quick.

I used to dream about how nice that would be with my Yorkies. Every now and then I'd end up giving them a nip, no matter how careful I was. Ohhhh the guilt....

This is Max (my Morkie) at 13 weeks when we picked him up at the breeders.
Your baby sure is a cutie!
Max is now 15 months.
I love my Morkie!

Doesn't matter...we luv them all anyway! No matter "what" they are

Wow...Max and Zoey look a lot alike, don't they?...especially their expressions. What a handsome little guy! How much does your Max weigh?

Forgot to say...Zoey was born 2/12/08.

Max weighs 7 lbs...but the vet said at his check up this week that he needs to lose 1 lb and get back to 6 pds. He is 15 months old now. He weighed about 2.5 to 3 lbs when he was 13 weeks.
I don't think he is over weight by that much. I can feel his ribs.

Max was born 2/7/08 -LOL

Max's tail is up & over his back and his ears are down (like Maltese) but his markings are Yorkie.

Their faces are very similar (nose and eye placement).
What a beautiful girl Zoey is!!!!

Chrissy...

Zoey weighs 4-1/2 lbs, but is still a chub, even though I've cut way back on her food and treats. I can (barely) feel her ribs too, but they're under a goodly layer of plumpness, heh. Her ears are up, as you can see in her pics. Her tail is up and over her back...except when she's concerned about something (like clippers

). Then the little white tip of it actually touches the ground.

Her markings are similar to a Yorkie's, but she's got a LOT of white. Mostly white face, tan ears, a little tan on the muzzle, mostly grey body, pale tan and white legs, grey and tan tail with a white tip...white tipped feet (YAY!!!).

I love her long tail. It's so expressive...like a little plumed flag.

I begin to think tail docking maybe isn't such a great thing after all, you know?

Zoey and Max would make quite the adorable couple, huh???

How is she doing in the coat department, now? Just think...if there's not a ton of coat, there's not a ton of grooming and clipping!

Max's little tangles can be a pain sometimes. I would love it if his coat was a bit thinnner!~
