| 2nd gen Yorkiepoo Hi everyone! New here I have a male and a female yorkiepoo, both are totally black. The female has the poodle hair, and the male has more of a soft wavy type hair. Anyhow, my babies had a baby! Our girl, Luna gave birth to a cute little girl named Sunny and she ended up inheriting the yorkie coloring. Here is a picture of her when she was about 8 weeks old, now she is 4.5 months and the hair on her head have turned completely silvery/white, and she has just little black tips on the ends where the hair has grown out. I will need to get a more recent pic of her, but her hair is always spikey and messy...very straight, but feels a bit straw-like at the moment. Any idea if she will be a cotton or silky? |

YT 2000 Club Member | she is very cute!! Being that she is a mix it will be hard to tell what her coat will be like. If its course already, she may end up with more of a poodle coat. You will no more when she gets older, their coats change rapidly untill they are a year old or so. I too have a yorkie poo, his mom was a full bred toy poodle and his dad is a yorkie poo, my tucker (7 months old) looks identical to a yorkie except for his solid coloring. He is all cream. Good luck with your new pup.
