| How often do you bath your Yorkie? I bath Barley once a week. However, I've noticed within two days he has a musky / doggy odor that comes back. I want him to smell as good as he looks, and have purchased shampoos that alledge they will help control odor longer (etc), and have purchased odor controling mists, but they don't work more than a day. Does anyone else had this issue? What did you do to resolve it? I've seen that several use Minksheen, but some warn that it's overly "old lady" purfumey. So I wonder if anyone's found something else that works? Please, I'm at a loss on what to try next.

| I looked online and ordered some "doggy cologne" they have some really good deals.. like 5 bucks. I haven't recieved mine yet ( just ordered it a week ago ) but you can always shop around on line and read the customer reviews. Good luck! Amazon.com: Synergy Pooch Scents Canine Cologne... |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | before my boy was fixed I bathed him weekly. Now I only bathe him every other week. I have never had a problem with him having a bad smell unless I went weeks without a bathe. |

| I bath Missy every 5-7 days. By the 7th day she is STINKY. I think it's the homecooking or teething. I haven't quite narrowed it down yet. But when I fed her RAW she didn't stink at all!

| My babies get a bath every 2 weeks. Usually at the week mark, they get a "refreshing" which consists of a grooming spray, detangler, etc to help keep them smelling good. I use baby wipes on Max every day to keep him smelling good as well. We haven't had any bad smells since I have been using the baby wipes every day and grooming spray 1-2x a week.

| I bathe Apple every 10 days, however, on the 8th day I seem to be counting back to when I bathed her last lol...It's not, at all, a bad smell, she's just not "fresh as a daisy", and I know it's about time...I wouldn't mind bathing her more often, but I think about her skin, and stretch it out to 10 days.... | Eh usually every 7-10 days. It depends on what he's been into and how messy he is!

| I bathe my 2 once a week. I use Pet Silk Rainforest shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and then follow up with Pet Silk Rainforest cologne a few days later. I do wash Bella's face in between baths. Although I bathe both babies at the same time, my larger dog Chloe, a maltese mix, will start to smell doggy a lot sooner than Bella.

| I bath Lucky once every 2 weeks since his hair is short now. When it was longer I bathed him once a week. I use oatmeal shampoo on him. Every now and then I use the petsilk shampoo and conditioner. The petsilk cologne smells so good but it seems to bother him when I would put it on him so I quit. I think the smell is to strong for him.

| Bath time is once a week on Sunday at my house. After their bath I then use 1 tsp of Neutrogena Bath Oil in a very large glass of warm water and do not rinse. You do have to be very careful not to use too much of the bath oil or their hair will look flat. They spell great for the entire week. By far this is the best thing that I have ever tried on them. Not only does it make their coats smell great but it also helps with tangles and knots. I totally doubted this would work the first time I tried it but I swear by it now. I NEVER have a stinky pup anymore and they actually look shiny!

| I think once a week is great, I bathe Gucci once a week , Every Monday to be exact.. Right now it's been 2.5 weeks but he's getting a bath tonight (we just moved so that was a LOOOONNNGGGG Process and his bath was just not in the cards as I was way tired). He has never had an issue with smelling bad though, Well now he is getting there lol .. but 2.5 weeks and no bath is a stinkin long time for him. I wonder with your baby, if it could maybe be a food issue or something? have you ever researched his food and seen if there are any complaints about odor from others that feed the same? Sometimes, their food or skin problems or just overall health problems can cause odor from the fur or breath. |

| I bathe Laddy once a week with minksheen because his Daddy thinks he needs to be allowed outside with him to play in the grass and leaves all the time. in between I spray him with a conditioning cologne because when he comes inside he has the sheewwwwy doggy smell. I have also noticed since I started him on Missing Link that he doesnt get nearly as smelly and his coat is so much shinier and softer. |

| Curly gets a bath about every 4th day or so but not because she stinks, it's because that's when my allergies seem to kick in. The only time she's ever stunk? stank? stinkeded? LOL was once when she was running around outside like a mad man and got into some mess. |
