nanahas3: I didn't know what a blue born yorkie was until a few years ago, when Silvia's hair started getting thin on her back. I started researching to see what might be causing it and discovered that she was apparently very lucky to even be alive and healthy. In fact, I was more than shocked, because she has always been playful and very healthy. I still can't find much information on the blue born syndrome, but I'm always learning.

Here's Mimi:
1. Mimi around 8 months of age, changed from blk & tan to almost all bluish silver & tan, her head being the lightest.
2. Mimi now at 2 yrs old, a beautiful (lighter) blue & tan. After she turned a yr old, she started getting a richer tan all around her face...read somewhere that Yorkies change coat colors for up to 2-3 yrs.
