Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Macy's new "do" Well, i was testing Macy's patience today with the clippers, and she did so well! I was just going to clip her legs and bum, but she laid down in my lap and was so good! So we decided the rough puppy coat needed to come off! She is SOOOO soft now underneath that puppy fuzz She doesnt look too thrilled in the pics here, but she sure is soft now

| She looks so cute! I can't believe she sits still so well for grooming. I am pretty sure that the day I attempt to use clippers on Violet will be the day I lose a hand.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | We've only had her for a month tomorrow. I couldnt get a brush to her at first, she would growl and run away with it. And our first try at the clippers was HORRIBLE. But shes doing great now, and knows mama wont hurt her She just plops down in my lap and lets me do my thing

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Thanks! I've been working hard on grooming her at home, and behaving while doing so! Does it look to short? I used a #2 guard, longest i had, she just looks too short to me! My mom even said she looks funny!

That's exactly how Lulu looked when I first brought her home. Her breeder was having hand surgery and knew she wouldn't be able to properly brush and groom her so she shaved her body and legs.

| I would like to trim Luigi He has long hair but when I brush it it get all frizzy and nappy. He also has a tendency to mat. He hasn't had his rabies shot yet so I can't bring him to get groomed (my niece is a groomer at petsmart). But I am afraid his tyrannasauras rex tendencies will rear its head if I try the clippers on him. He is only 2.2 lbs. But boy he sure gets beastly when scared or angry. The heck with loosing a hand I might loose and arm. LOL Last edited by BellaAmore; 03-07-2009 at 01:21 PM. |

| I think Macy looks adorable. I did the same to Piper when she was about that age and she gave me that same look. It's like she was saying, look at me , I'm NAKED. The hair does grow back quickly.

| I have a 10 week old and I just started brushing and combing her today. She actually did fairly well. I want to get her used to it. After she finishes all of her shots we'll start going to the groomer. |

| she looks awesome. I had to do my female with the cottony coat, but had to use the clipper without the guard as she had lovely matts, so next time I will use the attachment. She is still horrible to sit still tho!
