| CC Brushes & combs... Are they really worth the expense? What CC brushes/combs do you use & are they really better than some of the less expensive brands. I'm trying to convince myself & my husband that we should make the investment for our little furbabies. |

| Everyone raves about them.... and I am sure they are great....but I won't spend that kind of money.....I did buy a slicker brush ...at my pet store...and one at Walmart...I love them...they are worth it...I paid $8 for one & $5 for the Wal mart one... I am very happy with them....

| I love love the one I have. I have actually bought 2 of them and one somehow got lost. I have bought a lot of other brushes and these brushes are the best. I used to use a slicker brush and didn't realize that I wasn't brushing through all the layers and thought my dog was just gaining weight but she was actually all matted underneath. Neadless to say...she had to be shaved

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I love them. If you run the pins of a regular brush on your wrist it scratches the CC brushes do not. I have the 20mm gold series pin brush, the new wooden bristle brush and the 06 butter comb. Since I have 3 yorkies and groom them my self it was a great investment.

| Just google chris christenson brushes and it will bring up thier website. I love my CC brushes and combs. I have the 20mm gold pin brush and a soft bristle brush. I also have their #06 face/feet buttercomb (which I think is a must have) and the fine rat tail comb. I tried inexpensive brushes but they hurt my babies, didn't brush well and fell apart. To me, CC is worth paying extra for as I groom my own. Patti, do you like the new wooden bristle brush? Is there any advantage to it over the gold pin brush?

| I'm glad you said this. I was told by a groomer to purchase a slicker brush for Sophie. And it seems to pull her hair a lot. I've just ordered a pin brush. That looks to be a bit more gentle. I've also just ordered 4 Paws Solft and Silky Conditioning Spray for tangles to use when I brush her everyday. It seems that Sophie has a lot of hair and it tangles quite easily. |

When you take a dog to a groomers...they aren't going to meticulously brush out your dog...they pretty much do a quick once over. You're right about using conditioner when brushing...don't brush them "dry" either.

| Will the 20mm gold pin brush go through a Maltese hair, my Yorkie has thin hair so no problems for knots, but my Maltese hair is thick so would a 27 gold pin brush be better. They are awfully expensive in Canada so I what to get the right one and the #06 face/feet buttercomb is that efficient for thick hair too?

| I wasn't excited about the cost -- but once I got the 20mm gold pin brush, I couldn't have been mre pleased. It's worth every penny.

| I think the Buttercombs are definitely worth it. I also love my little Mark 1 slicker for feet. I prefer the Madan brushes hands down, though. I loved my Gold Series brush for years until I tried my Madan. I never used my CC brush again. I hate the Fusion. I used it twice and sold it for $15.
