I'm glad you said this. I was told by a groomer to purchase a slicker brush for Sophie. And it seems to pull her hair a lot. I've just ordered a pin brush. That looks to be a bit more gentle. I've also just ordered 4 Paws Solft and Silky Conditioning Spray for tangles to use when I brush her everyday. It seems that Sophie has a lot of hair and it tangles quite easily.
