| I took masking tape 1/2" and left the ear the way it is naturally, went around the ear one time, then taped in the front on mine, it was easy to do. You can leave them taped for 4 days, then take the tape off, if they start flpping again, then tape 24 hours and take tape off again, you can keep going 24 hours at a time until they stay up |

| Along with what PHFGkL said, I would also shave the hair off the entire ear on both sides. That will get the weight off the ears and help them stand.

| To add some information, check out this site, scroll down to the Taping Ears For Down Ears... Yorkie Maltese Products and Bows: Grooming Instructions For lucy, when she was over 4 months old, I trimmed the hair weight off the upper back part of her ear & didn't end up having to use tape. Her ear finally came up a short time after that.

| We did the same to Teddi-- cut the hair around his ears when he was about 4 months old (around the time we got him) and now at 5 months his ears are standing straight up! No taping necessary.
