| Pictures of Short cuts! OK, we just had our Gracie groomed and they cut her hair so short I wanted to cry. It doesn't even look like our dog anymore! I just keep telling her that everyone has had a bad haircut and it will grow back. So, now I want to see how other people keep their little one's hair cut short... without it looking like a shaved rat. |

| Due to matting, Bailey's first hair cut was a shave - unfortunately! Of course, I cried - my baby went from puppy to a grey old dog in one day. Yes, it does grow out - but that was diffucult to comprehend on that day. His a couple pics - #1 - after the shave (schnauser cut) and #2 - today's puppy cut.

| I can't help you this month. Holly just got groomed yesterday and she does look like a shaved rat, with a top knot. She has a cotton coat that gets so matted, they really had to cut her short. She looks really cute though with her teddy bear face! I'll get a pic if I can get her to sit still long enough. Until then, I think the one below has her in a short cut. They both have short cuts, Holly is in the blue dress.

| I keep both of mine short intentionally and we constantly get compliments on their haircuts. My groomer is great and I think we have gotten it just right for each of them. Sammy is great advertising for my groomer

| I actually love their hair short! They just look so cute and expressive. When I cut down my boy a few months ago I fell in love with him all over again. A very good friend of mine is a jack of all trades so the day after we did his finishing photos she cut him down for me and he couldnt be happier or look cuter. Next time you have her groomed try the Westie cut--it gives them the cutest face and a skirt of hair on the side. Also, another very important thing is to find a good groomer that you can trust--easier said than done. Here is a pic she took of him after he was cut down. Best of luck with your girl and remember--the hair will grow back! |

| I agree and while I love the longer coats it's for the ones that don't live in the country. It's ok if you can take them out on a leash but I have a small fenced back for Bailey.

| Here is Molly in her Snorkie cut. You can modify and make it shorter on the legs. Take lots of pics to the groomer and even if you get a bad cut take pictures with you so they know exactly what you do not want next time. Good Luck! snorkie5.jpg snorkie4.jpg
