| Drugstore gel I'm tired of Lilly's hair being in front of her eyes ALL the time while trying to grow her nose/facial hair out. I've heard Pet Silk Top Knot Gel is really good but I thought I'd see if there was anything just as good that I could get either at a drugstore or Wal-mart type of store. Or even something I could get at a store that carries salon hair care. I'm just very impatient and would rather buy something I could have now. Price doesn't really matter just as long as it's not like over $20. I also don't want it to leave her hair feeling too stiff and sticky. Thanks!!!

| I just received my Petsilk Gel a couple days ago. It's not sticky at all. It holds gently and has to be used daily. I just used some last night. It does not leave the hair stiff or stickly. Actually it does not feel any different at all. I was surprised. I ordered it from E-bay. $11.95 pluse sh. |

| You have to be careful because some of the gels for our hair have alcohol in them

| I've been using Vasaline. I pretty much use it for everything, lol. Baby's butt, dogs hair, my lips, eyelashs... etc.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I feel the same way as you do, but I couldn't find anything locally, I used human hair gel, moose, and even hair spray, but nothing worked for very long, and also Joey did develop an eye ulceration, and I believe it was related to his hair poking his eye with perhaps some of the human product on them. I used vaseline, until I received the gel, and the gel works so much better. We've been using it since May, and the ulceration hasn't returned.

| Thanks ladies! I'm gonna go ahead and order some Pet Silk. Where is the cheapest to buy it? I'll most likely go with go.fetch because things ship so fast. Thanks!

| I'm glad to see you are getting it. It works great and i think you might think it's worth the wait to get it through the mail. I got it through Best In Show Boutique (do a Google search) and it was around $13.00 and that included shipping! Great stuff, I like that it doesn't build up even using it every day. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Quote: Petedge has a good price if you are going to be buying several things, but their handling and shipping fees are high otherwise. I got mine on e-bay, but google it and watch those shipping prices, they can be deceptive.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Same thing happened to me, but I only needed the one thing, and it was going to cost over 20 some dollars at Petedge, with the handling fee of 12.50 plus a shipping fee as well. Then, I didn't feel so bad.
