| Grooming Supplies Advice I am probably going to groom my dog myself, so I was looking for a good website that explains what supplies you need, what kind of clippers to get, etc. If it sells them too that would be great. I have found that Buddy Wash shampoo/conditioner and conditioning spray has the best reviews so I am going to buy that. I know I need clippers with different blade lengths but that's pretty much as far as my knowledge goes. If you know of a good website that explains Yorkie cuts that would be very useful too. Please let me know if you have any experience or know of any good websites/brands. Thank you!! |

| Check Petedge.com, they are a wholesale supplier for vets, groomers, breeders, etc. They don't have instructions on what you need, but it's a good place to order from. They do have grooming books though...it depends how much you want to learn about grooming. Andis and Oster are the best brands for dog clippers. Andis is quieter than Oster which is good for fearful dogs, but Oster has excellent speed. I prefer Andis myself, but a lot of groomers prefer Oster. It's just personal opinion. I haven't tried Buddy Wash, but I prefer the BioGroom products. I'm not sure if Petedge sells Buddy Wash or not. I don't think I've seen it there. There are several good websites from show breeders with grooming instructions. Here is one that has good info: Jon-An's Yorkshire Terrier Coat Care Hope this helps!
