| Some parts grow faster than others, and how short you like it is really up to you. I trim my pups face almost every week, and trim her paws and shave her butt with every bath. Some parts really seem to grow fast (Like around her butt) and others seem slower (on top of her head) |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | When Joey was a puppy, I was trimming something every week, I now trim ears, foot pads, tummy, and butt about once a month, the rest I'm letting grow. I think many people who go to groomers go once ever 4-6 weeks.

| Hair grows at a different rate for each indiviual dog. There are certain lines that have fast growing hair while others are slow. Where are you trimming your dog? Is it for show or pet? I dont trim much on a show dog except the tips of ears and and feet only.

| When the hairgets to be floor length, you can trim any excess around the bottom so that it is just to the floor and not alot longer. Makes for a neater appearance.

| Yes brush the coat every day. The coat should be slightly damp with diluted conditioner when you brush to keep from breaking the hair. Brushing a dry coat will damage the coat.
