| Any girls without topknots? Maybe I'm just lazy but I'm really slacking when it comes to putting KaCee's hair up in a topknot. She constantly has hair in her face! I'm seriously considering having the hair on her head cut short. Do any of you keep your girls' cut short?

| I have two girls and a boy, and I keep all their hair short. They pull each other's topknots out, so I decided to stop trying and keep it short.....it looks cute, and alot neater! |

| Zoe's hair is just now really growing back out since a STUPID groomer shaved her...I love her head long..but she will not keep anything in her head..I am going to try it once more..but will probably end up short again..short, not shaved

| No topknots for Zoe! We live in Florida and it is always warm. I like to keep her in a puppy cut and be able to check her for fleas/ticks. Plus she loves to roll. She gets bathed every 10 days and groomed every three weeks. I believe she is most comfortable this way. I truly believe it is your personal preference and the how comfortable your baby is in his own skin/coat. I love Yorkies either way! |

| I'm going back and forth...I don't know what to do but I need to do something! She looks like a little homeless mutt running around! Her hair is always in her face and half the time, I don't think she can see. But she looks so cute when I do put it up!

| I am so glad you asked that question! lol. As I am new to YT, I was browsing albums and I was beginning to think that my baby was the only one without a bow in her hair! I always wanted her to look like a "show" Yorkie...the long coat, the pretty fall and top knot. But instead, she always looks like a poor, runt of a thing with her hair in her eyes! Plus, we had her cut extremely short at the beginning of hot weather here in South Carolina. She rolls around the yard with the neighbor's cat and is anything but graceful. For our preference, we are keeping her fairly short (I may grow her hair out in the winter just to try it now that she is a little older). But I can't stand that she doesn't keep her hair out of her eyes. We picked her up from the groomer on Friday and before I even got into the parking lot, she had pulled her hair down. I have tried the "no -slip" clips, I have made bows, I have used the "ouchless" ones, anything...and she refuses to keep her hair up. I can't stand it in her eyes, so I just had it cut. For now, it suits her personality, I suppose. So just know you are in good company!! loll |

| Holly had a top knot until the groomer cut it off. I was so angry. Now we are starting over in that department. There is a compromise though. You can leave some short hair just above the eyes, then grow out the hair on top of the head. This will allow you to put in a top knot when you want, and when you or your baby don't the longer hair will be held away from the eyes by the shorter hair. It's kind of like having bangs!

| I still haven't decided what to do! She is so cute when her hair is up. The problem isn't her...it's all me! When I put a clippie in her hair, she leaves it alone, but every couple hours I have to redo it because it's slipped out. Rubber bands are even worse, they are constantly slipping off. I put it up when we go somewhere or if we are having company over but the rest of the time, I just hate hasseling with it.

| Girly Girl with no bow! Pebbles would take out everything I put in her hair so I keep the "bangs" short but could put a bow in with the longer hair behind. Now she & I are both happy.IMGA0001.JPG

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie has never had a topknot she came to me at 13 months without one so we left it. When I got Roxie she kept pulling Cali's out so I finally cut hers off too but am growing it back.

| if her hair is in her face all the time i would suggest you cut it. sometimes it gets to be a pain in the neck , im constantly fixing lexi's hair. im thinking of cutting it too, but lexi loves her hair being put up, she runs to me when the brush comes out. for me, its not a big problem. lexi's hair is never in her face...

| I have one who keeps her's up and one who doesn't. I just cut bangs in Coco's yesterday, I think it looks cute and for her it makes more sense since she can get anything I put in her hair out in 2 seconds flat

| I've never put a bow in Harley's hair. Whenever the vet or the groomer has tied a bandana around her neck, I take that off as soon as we get home. However, the last time I took her to the groomer (last Thursday), she had a top knot in. She looked so miserable. I laughed so hard, I almost fell over. I left it in all the way home and even a little while after we got home because I wanted to get some pictures of it - since my girlfriend always wants to see her with a bow in. About 2 seconds later, Harley started rubbing her head on the ground trying to get the bow out, so I just took it out. She is only 6 months old, so her hair isn't very long anyway. It's not long enough to get in her face yet, but by about 2 days after her bath, she looks like a homeless dog anyway. She's like a little tomboy, eating bugs and rolling in the dirt. |

| I'm working on getting Gracie to do the topknot. She's such a tomboy tho, and although she doesn't actually get it out, it usually gets pretty messed up. Little stinker. I'm going to still work with it, because Annie's hair never really grew long enough for a bow. Both pictures where taken on the same day. I'm amazed at how different she looks! 1) Her rough and tumbled look 2) Precious little girl look
