| Buddy's coat is very short on his back but his head and tail part right down the middle. When his coat was longer it parted by it's self. Wait alittle while until it grows more. You will see the part without doing anything. |

| When Mia's hair was shorter, there was no part. Now that her hair is a bit longer, it formed a part down her back.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | You can try after her bath, when she is still wet, brush her hair in that direction and start "training" her hair

| Help!!!!! I have bathed Lily several times and she will be 14 weeks old tomorrow. She does fine now with the bath part pretty good but the comb or brush is AWFUL!!! Should I get that "Cowboy Magic" and if so WHERE?? I used "Mane & Tail Conditioner" on her today but she is just too wild to get a comb through her when she is wet and I try to brush her when she's dry but she is horrible and just bites and I am afraid she is going to be matted down next to her skin and they will never come out?? I will get her groomed and keep her cut fairly short (puppy cut) when it is time to do that but I would hate to think she will have to be SHAVED?? Her hair is thick and it doesn't seem matted but I'm sure it almost has to be next to her skin and I can feel some on her legs. Any suggestions??? How old should she be to get her groomed and cut?? THANKS!! |

| It kind of depends on their coat and the length of their hair-shorter hair doesn't part as easily, while longer hair seems to. A silky coat will part, while a cotton coat is almost impossible to part unless the hair is long.
