I got a nice metal comb at Petsmart for about $5....Or maybe it was $8..I forget. But it works really well and I can see why you'd need it if you have a dog whose fur mats like this. It took quite a bit of time (I did it over about 3 days and still have a little bit to get out) but now it's almost all unmatted~ I feel much better. Madison's hair looks pretty pathetic at the moment, but he's getting his FIRST professional grooming tomorrow morning so I'm sure he's going to be really handsome when they're done. I have a picture for them to go by; I'm not taking any chances with his poor hair. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it
