| When I first brought Cassiopia (she was 12 wks old at that time) to the vet, they told me that I should only bathe her once every month. However, she really started to smell after 3 weeks. In any case, I've picked up a book specifically on yorkie and the book said you could bathe them weekly or every 2 weeks at minimum. I'm glad that I've read the book, b/c Cassi smells great now. I bathe her every 2 weeks, but on a daily basis I will use the puppy wipes and ear wipes...and of course her paws gets washed 2x a day. |

| ![]() Once a week for Mia. I usually hold her with one hand wash with the other, until it comes to her face and she hates water on her head...I always save that till the very last thing.. Afterwards she loves it. She rubs on the towel until she's almost dry.. She's so cute and smells so good!!! |

| Lily gets a bath every week and a half with medicated shampoo due to allergies but my vet says no more than 3x a week in a normal situation.

| I try to bathe Smokey at least once a week and no he doesn't like it but he tolerates it....it is actually so cute....he does this thing with his face when you pour the water over him...you know the commercial where they are giving the baby a bath and pour water over it's face...that's the face he makes......but he don't like it.....he wears bellybands....and even with wiping him down everytime i change it he still gets a little stinky after abut 5-6 days....in the summer as it gets hotter though I give him one about every 4 days......I have to trim him every 2 to 2 1/2 weeks his hair seems to grow as fast as mine and with his little face it don't take long till it is in his eyes....i use a toothbrush and baby shampoo for the bridge of his nose and around his eyes...and it is just too cute...he will actually try to lick the shampoo....too cute.....and he hates the hairdryer even worse than the bath....but I can't let him air dry because he is 1/2 biewer and 1/2 standard yorkie.....his hair is sort of curly so we blow dry......and then he sleeps most of the rest of the day.....

| Tink gets a bath every week or two, when either her head looks a little greasy or she is a little smelly! ![]() I do wash her beard and eyes each day before putting her hair up out of her eyes. ![]() At first she hated her hair being put up, but now she sits like a good girl

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Everybody gets brushed daily; everyone gets puppy wipes on butts and faces (different wipes) several times a day. Baths are usually every other week, unless we have a dog show. Then we have coats in oil, and bathe more frequently. |

| Gracie usually gets a bath every 3 to 4 weeks unless she gets terribly dirty. Her big sister Izzy (an Aussie) keeps her eyes, ears and face clean on at least a daily basis. Her face is so wet after Izzy licks her that she looks like a little werewolf. Gracie's bathed in the sink. I bought a cheap tub mat with suction cups on the bottom and cut it to fit my sink which helps keep her from slipping. The security has helped her enjoy her bath time much more. Also, you might want to avoid sraying around the head and ears. Most dogs hate water in their ears. Maybe a very wet wash cloth on the head area would be more tolerable for Bailey. Good luck and give lots of praise and treats!!!
