| Bows for boys? I'm looking for opinions on how to do male yorkies' hair. I'm trying to grow out Pippin's hair so I can clip it out of his eyes. It's not long enough yet for an elastic tie so I put a tiny brown clip in it. My husband hated the new look completely and says that boys shouldn't have clips/bows in their hair. I was wondering what other people thought about this matter. |

| LOL, that seams to be the answer of a lot of men, but, well I do love yorkie boys with a bow... My Juanito uses them, and I love every minute of it... You just have to look for the right manly bow!

| You should bring your husband to a dogshow so he would have the opportunity to see yorkie males wearing bows . |

| I make and sell bows and I get that question a lot. For some reason men seem to think that we women will put a frilly pink bow in a boy's hair! The key is "manly" bows. I have two pages of boy bows on my website so you can see what I mean. The football bow customized in his team colors is a great ice breaker. If you look at the Tail Wags section of my website, you can see some very handsome boys showing off their bows! |

| Hi, Slade always has at least a band in his hair..otherwise it all hangs in his face and he can't see. He does have some "manly" bows that I put in his hair if we are going somewhere. BTW, where in GA are you? I'm in SE ga area.

| Thanks so much for the advice everyone. Taking my husband to a dog show is a very good idea! I just bought some teeny tiny hair elastics and am going to try those for a while before we go for the bow Oh, and I am in the Atlanta area for the person who asked. |
