I cannot remember where I read this but i tried it today and thought that it worked well and figured I should share with everyone else since we all have to clean eyes and brush hair and teeth pretty much every day. Here goes I make myself a cup of chamomile tea take the tea bag out and when the tea bag is slightly warm, not hot, I wipe it under his eyes where the tear stains would be. then all i have to do is comb his face and all the eye stuff slides right off with the comb. I used to just use warm water but the chamomile seems to loosen it up better. Hope it work for everyone else as well as it does for me.

My favorite part (besides the fact that it works) is that I have to relax and drink my tea while I am cleaning him up

Thanks for the tip.. I will have to pass this on to my mom.. Her poor schnauzer's eyes are so guked up it's not funny.. I tried it on Riddick, it worked great.. Riddick hated it though as he hates me touching his face..

cool... Gizmo sees the little flea comb I use to clean his eye boogies and he books it... that little stinker can run....lol

I don't know why but it seems like the smaller they are the more fiestier & squirmier they can be LOL! when I'm trying to do her ears she's constantly turning around like a lil snapping turtle!! I just giggle at her which I think makes her madder at me
