Thanks, he is as sweet as he is handsome. People love his coat and color, when we go for walks people stop us and ask about his color, they seem to like it better than the blue. To me he looks like he's floating on air when he prances along. He has stolen my heart, of course along with the rest of them...lol.

All 3 of mine are black. Pixie who is 2 and has a silky coat is just know starting to break to silver on her back. Cali is cottony and almost 3 years old and had remained black with no sign of getting lighter. Roxie is 27 weeks and still black and just starting to go silver on her head. Her coat looks like it may be silkier than Cali's but not as silky as Pixie's. The cottony is definatley harder to manage.

I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that Abby will be colored like Roxie. It's hard to tell from my tiny avatar, but she's really dark.

Here's my Max...he's really dark. I was interested in this b/c Madison's coat is so very different from Max's...so I am wondering if this is what's called a "cottony" coat? I need to check the other posts; I just never read about them, b/c Max has such a nice coat, LOL.

Oh gosh, what an adorable group you've got!

That looks like Meka... When I take out her top not, all the hair on her head is tan/goldish color... Her back is still very dark and there are silver streaks throughout her coat.... She just made a year old last month... Is it safe to assume that she will stay this color?

Is you baby a silk coat? And does he have any grey in his head? Sadie is 6 months... has blck on her body with no break at all... But has a soot grey on her head along with a dark tan. I would love to have her stay black but nt sure about the grey head!

Her coat is very soft but not curly like a cotton coat. I'm hoping silk coat?

the person above me said something about the cottony coats being curly. is this true??? can a silky coat be kinda curly too? pebbles coat is a bit wavy when i dont brush it.. terribly cute... but i thought she had a silky coat?
