| Where can I get elastic bands?? Like the smallest you can get. I wish I could get the ones that my daughter had on her braces years ago. They would be perfect!

| I got some today at Wal-Mart in the baby section, not sure how good they are yet. You can also get them at beauty supply place.

| These are the latex bands from Woodpecker's. They are great and don't cut the hair like a rubber band would. They are about $10 for 1,000 bands. When you are ready to remove one from a top knot, be sure to cut it with tiny scissors rather than trying to unwind the band. This also cuts down on hair loss and/or damage. Store them in the refrigerator to prolong the shelf life of latex. Hope that this helps! http://www.dogshowpro.com/asp/produc...rchFor=&PT_ID= |

| I got it from beauty supplies store. Many colors, work really well, will not catch hair. Jen

| Many grocery stores and dollar stores now carry them. They don't cost much.

| We use the ones from Walmart (many in a package & different pastel colors)....... they are more of a nylon than a rubber and I think more gentle on the hair.

| I swear by the bands that Des (Tiger's Mom) sells. They are fairly small and don't tear any hair out at all and are easily unwindable when you take it out.

| Now, question is, what size do I get? Penny will be 4 mos on 4/7.( She hasn't hit 3 lbs. yet) She does not have enough hair for a topknot. I can barely get enough hair between my fingers. I just want to get something in her hair so she will get used to bows and such. If I don't get her used to it in advance I might as well forget it. So what size would at least stay in. Even if I have to wait another month or so at least I will have them.
